I have been to Vietnam for a few days.
Saigon.
There is a rain season and therefore the weather wasn't good all the time..



In the hotel it was nice anyway

There are 4 mio motorbikes in the city!!! 4 000 000 !!!

We were 25 people on the conference and decided to go for bike ride around Saigon. This was a challenge!!













There was a rain again, but we got a rain coats and it didn't stop us!









Finally we were all back, save.

Did you know that this part of the Vietnam used to be a French colony?
There is even Saigion's Notre Damm there!

Oh yes I know it ! My father made war from 1948 to 1952 (French war, we call it :"guerre d'Indochine" because Cambodge and Thailand was in this conflict for their independance) before Americans, after the defeat of "Diên Biên Phu" ( November 1954) the Vietnam was share in two part : North (communist) and South (capitalist... ??)
My father speak each day about it (also the II World WAR and Algeria war....) :D :D
