Is it true that in Russia a bottle of vodka is cheaper than a bottle of water? I heard that on the news..

The bottle of vodka, 0,5 litres costs 70 - 120 roubles.
One US dollar, is equal to 33 Russian roubles.

I did not believe it was true..but that is still a good price for vodka.

Here in USA 0.5 liters of very bad vodka cost about 230 roubles

0.5 liters of Stolichnaya cost around 650 roubles

We have good prices for Tequila, especially in california since we are so close to Mexico..but tequila gives me a bad hangover

Tequila - treacherous drink. (but not bad )
Vodka - honest (one of the best )

Please do not say that we have bears walking through the streets.
